Cross-Class FFXIV Abilities

can tank. but hate it

First of all tanking is extremely boring. if anything too hard to master. at least 2 week’s of constant study and rotation. we gonna use the “Holy Trilogy of RPGs” then we need to make. fair and fun for everyone. making a tanks low difficulty (even a 8-10 yr child can tank). we want ppl to plays tanks enjoy the tank much as dps or healers. this log for a cure. players dont ahve wait 50-75 mins on a dungeon que

Cross-Class Abilities
Savage Blade (removed for something better) I know warrior could use another defensive cool-down. i seen some warriors can’t take abuse for boo. this higher Ts around T7+ T10 can’t handle it as well as a paladin

Skull Sunder this should be replaced with “overpower” seriously this is just retarded right here second combo of the marauder. this is useless. at least then paladin has a better chance FFXIV Power leveling tanking
Paladin’s Needs More Combo’s or Attacks

I Personally love to see a shield bashing combo. that raise’s block rate. or gap closer case’s Paladin to charge the target’s

Marauder More Cool-downs
Marauder dont need any more attacks. maybe or one or two. they need more stuff covers there weaknessses for end game raids. they really do take a heavy chuck of damage when they tank not impossible to heal

Improvements to Parry
This so post to be tanking state noticed a-lot of tanks just fuck it it isn’t needed and tank just fine without it. so parrying scale’s should be alot more important

Another Tanking Stat too balance the scale’s think should have stance that increase’s over all enmity scaling

Paladins lvl40 Sheild Oath – after 1-40 levels complete and utter hell. dealing with trolly dps and lazy healers. we finally get it at lvl40 can’t be serious. this should been first skill we learned at 30 instead we get sword oath…”table-flip” again using flash for 40 level and same two combos for 40 levels… yup thats boring . almost becomes a like a dance. one, two to one two. three (oh crap miss do it again)

Squire-Enix’s response I know this is issue that needs be fixed. but too lazy to do anything about it. deal with it until havenward. watch you have pay more money for “applauds”

Raising my FFXIV Chocobo and Pedigree needs some Help

Standard

Hey there! I’m been taking my time ranking up my Chocobo while doing everything else and got her to Rank 20 already.

Now the max Rank is 40, correct? And from what I’ve heard retiring earlier than Rank 40 is very bad and you’ll lose your Chocobo and everything you’ve worked for as well as the MGP lost raising it.

Now my question is I want to raise my current Chocobo to the max rank and possible get as many good stats on it for my future races I plan to do it and I like to swap out the Chocobo Silence I for a Chocobo Dash II (considering that’s among the best, if not the best, ability for a Chocobo to have) so I can win the higher rank races with more ease.

However looking at the Permits for Grade 8 Pedigree Chocobo Breeding I was wondering if it was worth getting them? I hear it takes a long time to rank them up and some times you might get horrible skills form the breeding and maybe lackluster abilities… which can or can you not remove their abilities later?

I want to get a fairly good Racing Chocobo to help me win a good portion of the time, I don’t expect to win all the time, as I like Chocobo Racing despite the winnings MGP not good compared to TT winnings.

Anyway do you guys have any tips and suggestions for me to raise a pretty good Chocobo and avoid messing up and losing a lot of MGP from trying too hard? I head that Chocobo Racing is practically dead now considering the mechanics behind the breeding, pedigree, and whatnot.

What’s your win loss? Your story?

Standard

I’ve been with the Twin Adder since the beginning of 2.3. When Frontlines first came out, at least on Primal, the story was Mael was the dominant GC (to the point of suspicion), Adder was second, and Flames seemed to desire third place. It was just very difficult to beat them. They could be a distant second for most of the match, claw their way back to front and get the win (this happened far too often). Personally I thought some of them were manipulating the score. Ridiculous, yes, but those were my thoughts. I didn’t have a full understanding of scoring worked and seeing their score jump 15/20 points a second bothered me, but I kept it to myself. Around the time 2.4 rolled around, Flames clawed themselves from their third place ditch and contested for second place, and going for first place more often than they did during 2.3. This is also the time that bore witness to their nasty two-party-alliance-roaming-the-lands tactic (very hard to deal with, but they would still lose in the end). They would just steamroll anybody within sight. It wasn’t before long the Adder started doing this tactic, but it wasn’t long lived, I believe. This was the beginning of the premades, I think. When 2.4 hit, there was a change – you could be blind and notice it. Mael was winning a lot less than before. I don’t know if it was due to people switching alliances, or Square slightly altering the map, but this is the period where my first and second place winnings switched, and it’s been the same ever since. I’ve never seen Mael in third place so often before. The long time Flames must have noticed something too. I’m sure they were happy during this time.

98% of my matches have been Secure matches, the bulk of them during 2.4.

From my perspective as Storm, it seemed as though everyone who played a lot prior to 2.4 had gone into retirement. They got to rank 45 and then stopped to do other things. Also GC hopping (mostly people who aren’t that great) doesn’t help either.

I haven’t PvPed for about a month due to having other commitments *Fenrir today >_>* but when I started out back in October and played 100-game-weeks while solo it was pretty much mostly 1st/2nd for me. Usually would end up with more close-2nds in most weeks than not but I was still learning things in Secure at the time and just trying to get experience. For the longest time up until about January, my 2nd place was quite a bit higher than my 1st but that changed as more people wanted to form groups and queue at the same time until my 1st overtook my 2nd by leaps and bounds. Most people have since gotten what they wanted from PvP and not returned, or are occupied with other things. I never really noticed what you mentioned with ‘so many 3rds for Storm’, as Flames were usually the ones there for me, and I did PvP nearly every day from mid-October up until around mid-March. I don’t recall it being any different back when Secure was all we had other than when we were facing nearly full premades.

I will say that it sounds as though things have yet again weakened for the Storm, but there are strong points depending on the time of day. Maybe when we decide to come back, things will change yet again. In the time that I’ve been away from the group PvP, I think I’m wary of starting it up again as intensely as I had before. Perhaps I’ll just try to do a game a day at first and see how things go. I know I’m going to have to get back into the groove of things before we get increase PvP rank (hopefully to 60) and the new map a month after 3.0 launches so I might as well take baby steps till then.

Change Glamour System to Style Final Fantasy XIV System

Standard

Simply put… instead of making me glamour and reglamour, and store endless amounts of gear just to throw it on another, take a page from DCUO who did it right when it came to customization.

Let me equip a gear, and when it spirit bonds to me, I want that “glamour” to be stored.

Maybe you can make a book that we can pull styles from that we’ve glamoured before.

Hell, their’d be a huge BOOM in items if you could store every style imaginable in a book, people would collect styles like Cards. All content would suddenly become revalued, if only to collect the numerous styles.

Furthermore, include a Window with each gear slot and allow it to show each gear slot selected from a list of collected glamours, and then a Glamour Crystal cost, telling you how many of each type and level is needed to instaglamour an entire outfit in one fell swoop.

Pros –

Everyone will want to collect every “Style” combination for variety and diversity sake.

All gear becomes relevant to collect “Style”.

Glamour Crystals become a huge commodity in part to add the style to the book, and because you have a visual reference of your outcome completed before completed.

While I like to be able to customize myself, our glamour system isn’t all it could be…. I think by adding a glamour book, and the suggestions above, it could benefit everyone!

Desynth and dungeons Final Fantasy XIV items

Standard

Hello,

On Moogle server, I’m searching for a nice core of 4/10 players to run dungeons with. The purpose of those runs would be to regularly refill our stacks of expensive materials through desynth.
Of course, it would be post-50 dungeons only. The idea is to run a dungeon with 4 different desynthetizers players, making any loot you need for your own desynth a 100% guarantee. (the 3 other players pass, and you return the favor when someone else gets whats he wants from a chest)

Please contact me below, so I can reach back to you IG and organize such runs. If an unexpectedly number of players are interested in doing this, I might create an LS so we can have multiple teams running at once, and anytime. Mention your job(s) and desynth skills if you can please.

About myself :
Can run dungeons in any DPS or healer job.
